My name is Don Bernes. I'm 72 years old — turning 73 this May — and I'm a recent widower still finding my footing after 33 years of marriage. Rather than sit still with the grief, I decided to hit the road. This journey is my attempt to discover who I am, what I'm made of, and what this next chapter of life looks like.
